Ok, so having 6 Shih Tzus can be at times a little crazy. But that only happens if you let it. In my case I have put in a lot of time with them, taking them to trainning classes at Pet Smart which was really good for them to be socialized. That is so important when you get a new puppy. The more you expose them to people, children the better rounded pets you will have. Work with your dogs, play with your dogs.
The next thing and also very important is walking your pets. This really puts you in control and you gain their respect. You must always be in the lead. You must be the Pack Leader. Whether walking one or three which is what I do, I walk three at a time. I call it the first shift and second shift. They know who is who. When I am ready to take them for their walk all I need to say is OK, First Shift and Monty, Kimi and Niki are sitting in front of the door ready to go. I put there Harness or Leash on and we are off. I make them sit while I open the door and when I say OK we are off.
Do the same thing over and over again and they will get the message. Remember dogs are very smart.
I just started to invent a new lead to walk them with. I think it is going to be amazing and easy to use. It is all one piece. The strap becomes the harness and the collar. It is easy to put on. Under the belly and around the neck and you are off. As soon as it is ready for sale I will put it on my web site at
