Just because I can’t afford the extravagant designer clothing, shoes, and accessories often sported by celebrities doesn’t mean that I can’t deck out my dog in the finery reserved for the social elite. Dog clothing and accessories have found themselves in the limelight recently with the high profile pooches of Paris Hilton, Lauren Conrad, Rachel Bilson, and others. And now my puppy will enjoy the same accessories donned by those spoiled spaniels.
In fact, I just purchased a set of jeweled dog collars for my dog. I got a variety of colors because I knew my dog would want to sport a little variety in his closet. I can even coordinate his collar with my outfit, so we can both be stylish together. And even though the collars aren’t genuine Chanel or encrusted with diamonds, they look just as good. Plus, I don’t have to worry about breaking my bank if they are lost or damaged at the park or wherever we might venture together.
