You know all dogs love to go for a walk.  Walking with little dogs if they are wigglie can be a problem for their necks, if you are not using a harness.  There are so many great harnesses now that solve that problem and they also look great at the same time. This is a Mesh Harness which is cool for the summer but really serves the purpose.  A must have for your summer time walks.

About a year ago when I decided to get married I had the arduous task of choosing my best man.  I had quite a few candidates but for posterity’s sake (and to avoid familial in-fighting between my siblings), I chose my dog, Skip.  After my brothers calmed down and my fiancée stopped laughing, I had another arduous task: finding Skip a tuxedo.

Luckily, a dog tuxedo was not hard to come by and nine months later Skip stood there next to me and defied the popular thought that he would run amuck.  That honor was left to my wife’s 4 year old nephew who wore a Power Rangers mask as he walked down the aisle with our rings.

Like people, different dogs can accept varying degrees of temperatures.  Some dogs are more susceptible to cold weather or, just in general, sensitive to low temperatures.  If you feel like you have a dog like this, it might not be such a bad idea to purchase dog clothing for them.

When I was younger, my dog would wear the older hooded sweatshirts that were essentially hand me downs (paw-me-downs?) from my brother.  Now, I’ve found that there are several stores – both physical and online – that offer an array of dog clothing to keep our furry friends warm.  Don’t let your dog shiver on cold May morning and take advantage of these wonderful options we have now.

These are My Pet Pleasures.  They love to pose.  Doesn’t take much to get them to sit like that.  Four easy words, “Who wants a Cookie”  and they are ready for the action.  I hope seeing them you will understand why my husband and I invented the Water Post which you see below in the next Post.

Having a Pet is a Pleasure, so come and join my pet pleasures and maybe you will want to get some of your own pleasure owning a pet. 

When you have a water post at home, your pet will take to it at once.  Just rub a little something they like on the tip of the bottle and they will start licking and get the idea.  Once they use the bottle they usually will not go back to the dish. 

I know I have tried it with my dogs and they always use the post.

So this is Monty, he was so cute and smart when we got him, we just had to find him a mate.  You know we did, Kimi.  He still chases her.  Monty just had a birthday in March and he was six.  He is the oldest in my Pack. 

This is Kimi the mama of Duke and Duchess.  She was my third Shih Tzu and had the babies with Monty who is the daddy. The babies were born at home.  I must say, one of the highlights in my life.  I helped deliver the babies, opened the sac and cut the cord but then Kimi took over being mama.  I did take a maternity leave to help out.  I could not resist being there. 

Just thought I’d show you a picture of the babies when they were just born.  The picture of the two above, are the same at about three months old.  Duke and Duchess.  They were born April 28, 2004.  It will be birthday time soon. I will get an up date picture of them soon.
