So having 6 Shih Tzus you have to do your own grooming.  Impossible to afford sending them out for a bath and and cut.  So now that I am retired instead of doing them all in one weekend I do one at a time.  This past weekend Kimi got her bath and hair cut.  It is amazing what a difference a bath makes.  Especially when the dogs are mostly all white.  They get dirty so fast.  And I have 6 of them to groom.  When they are done they look sooooo great.  Or should I say Beautiful  Yes  Beautiful . 

When we have children we brag how great they are and what they have accomplished.  Well my children are all grown  and live on the East Coast.  So now I have my Six Pack to fill the void. 

So now I will start braging about my babies again. 

Above are my most precious babies.  Yes they are a family.  We have the mother and father and their two babies Duke and Duckess.  We also have Missy and Niki not part of their family just two other females.  They make up my pack and they are all sooooo good and loveable.  Starting from the left is Niki with the black face and Kimi who is the Mama.  Then we have Missy and Duchess in the middle and lastly we have Duke and Monty the Daddy.  Monty is the oldest and he will be 7 in March.  Kimi and Missy are 6 Duke and Duchess will be 5 in April and Niki is 3 1/2.  They are the reason we invented the Water Post and now have a web site with all good things for Pets.  Come by and see.

With all of todays stresses, we can always come back to reality through our Pets.  Our Pets know nothing of what is happeneing in the world today.  We are their world and they always show it. 

 I recently had a Total Knee Repalacement, so of course I was away in the Hospital for about a week.  When I came home it was amazing the greeting they gave me. 

I have said it before and I will say it again, Our Pets are total giving.  Lets not forget to keep them in our daily line up of hugs and kisses.  They love all the attention we can give them and they deserve it.

Usually they would all sleep with me in  my bed, but right now they are all camped out in their beds on the floor next to my bed, not really knowing why they can not come up. They are there watching me and waiting for any word or pet on the head when I can give it to them.

Today is so beautiful outside and I just got a new camera so I took all the doggies out with me to shoot some pictures.  Are they great or what.  Look how cute they sit and wait for there cookies. 

People always ask how do you get them sit like that.  Training and Love.  They know they will get there reward which is the Home Made Doggie Trinkets their Daddy makes for them which they go absolutely crazy for.

Well Missy makes Six.  So now you have met my Six Pack

This was the most amazing part of my role in raising my Shih Tzu’s, was to witness the birth of these beautiful babies.  I must say it was one of the high lights in my life.  Here you see Kimi the Mom with her two babies.  Duke and Duchess which are now 4 years old. 

 They are part of my Six Pack which I am very proud of. They bring joy to me and who ever meets them.  Walking with them just generates excitment, especially when they are dress in their cute dresses and harnesses.
