Well today we will celebrate. Our babies are 7 years old today. I will remember the delivery day and how exciting that was.Kimi the mom was a young mother and tiny so she had a bit of trouble delivering. In the end I helped and opened the sacks and tied off the cord. Wow what a day. I even took a maternity leave to be with the babies and mom.Today they are all doing great and are just beautiful. We kept the family together and have two other females. MY SIX PACK

Getting Dragged on the Leash? Assume This Position
Are you walking your dog or practicing for water skiing? Being pulled by your dog is no fun. One reason for pulling is holding the leash too tightly. Dogs have opposition reflex. You pull on them, they pull back. Like any other reflex, it’s automatic.Keep your hands low, down by your waist, and make sure you are not triggering the pulling by tugging and tightening on the leash unnecessarily.Using a harness also helps because they do not feel like they are being stangeled.
When walking your dog, you must remain in the leadership position, which means walking in front of your dog, or having him next to you. But, never let the dog be in front – that’s him leading you. Walk in and out of the house first while your dog remains behind or next to you. Step off and onto the curb before your dog. Show him that you are there to provide protection and direction. Also, make sure to use a short leash
so you can maintain control in any situation.Part of my Pack. Good eye contact is also important. Make sure they know you are the Pack Leader
Fall is a great time for dogs and their owners. These safety tips will help make it enjoyable for all!1. Don’t underestimate how cold it can be early in the day; some shorthaired breeds may need a sweater.2. Reassess your dog’s diet. Working dogs or those that spend a lot of time outdoors may need additional calories to generate body heat.3. Keep your dog away from those newly purchased school supplies. Glue or crayons can cause harm if consumed.4. Watch out for mushrooms as fall is their peak season. Toxic fungi can be harmful or even fatal.5. Be cautious in areas where hunters may lurk. Both you and your dog should be wearing
right colors.
Collars can do damage to your dog’s neck over the years. An easy way to prevent the damage is to attach your dog’s leash to a harness instead of a collar.
If your dog pulls a lot on leash, a harness is a better option. Once your dog understands how to walk politely on leash, you can simply walk your dog in a regular body harness.
Harnesses come in many colors and are comfortable for your pets.
When it comes to training your dog, good behavior and praise go hand in hand.Using punishment to achieve a desired behavior can be confusing to your dog and can erode your dog’s trust in you. Instead, reward good behavior with positive reinforcement in the form of praise, a food treat, or a toy. Offer the reward immediately and consistently. Your dog is eager to please you, so you don’t need to give food or toys for every good behavior. But always let your dog know when he or she has done something good by giving enthusiastic verbal praise immediately.Love your pets.

I found the cutest and easiest harness for My 6 Pack. It is a Reversible Harness. Two completely different designs on each side. Another good feature is it is narrow and it fits one of my male dogs who is built short and stocky. Usually when I would put a harness on him, Monty it would rub his Pee Pee and he was not comfortable. The colors are great and one side is pleather and the other is cotton. It is Velcor closings easy on and off.

Always carry a bottle of water to the dog park or run. You can often break up a fight by squirting the two dogs. They’ll stop long enough for you to pull your dog out of harm’s way. It also works when dogs get nuts while playing and need a quick time out to keep the play from escalating. I have one dog that is affaird of the big dogs, and she will bark at them which could cause too much excitment that could lead into a fight.
Always be aware of your sourrounds and where your dog is. I remember when my children were little I always use to say, “I need eyes in the front and back of your head to see what is going on” Things can happen very quickly.
Have fun with your pets and take them for a walk. Make sure the little ones have their harness on. It is much better for their necks.
