Well today we will celebrate. Our babies are 7 years old today. I will remember the delivery day and how exciting that was.Kimi the mom was a young mother and tiny so she had a bit of trouble delivering. In the end I helped and opened the sacks and tied off the cord. Wow what a day. I even took a maternity leave to be with the babies and mom.Today they are all doing great and are just beautiful. We kept the family together and have two other females. MY SIX PACK

Instead, reward good behavior with positive reinforcement in the form of praise, a food treat, or a toy. Offer the reward immediately and consistently. Your dog is eager to please you, so you don’t need to give food or toys for every good behavior. But always let your dog know when he or she has done something good by giving enthusiastic verbal praise immediately.Love your pets.
Merry Christmas from all of us at My Pet Pleasures

Always carry a bottle of water to the dog park or run. You can often break up a fight by squirting the two dogs. They’ll stop long enough for you to pull your dog out of harm’s way. It also works when dogs get nuts while playing and need a quick time out to keep the play from escalating. I have one dog that is affaird of the big dogs, and she will bark at them which could cause too much excitment that could lead into a fight.
Always be aware of your sourrounds and where your dog is. I remember when my children were little I always use to say, “I need eyes in the front and back of your head to see what is going on” Things can happen very quickly.
Have fun with your pets and take them for a walk. Make sure the little ones have their harness on. It is much better for their necks.

Today we had our once a month Meet-Up with our small dog group. We meet at San Dimas Park. It is very beautiful there set in the foothills. They have a picnic area, play park for the children ball fields a lot of walking trails and horse trails. They have two sections for the dgs. Small dogs and Big dogs which are separated. Very nice. Today I took Monty, Kimi and Duke. It was fun and the dogs had a good time socializing with the other dogs. Very important for them. They were all dress in their colorful harnesses. It is great having them wear them, because I can find them right away. With so many dogs it is hard to keep track of them but with their cute colorful harness it is a snap to pick them our of the Pack.
Here you see my pack showing off their stuff. They even know they look cute. We have different styles of harnesses to choose from, so come by and see all the good stuff for your pets.

Let’s face it, some dogs just want to pull on the leash, regardless of how they’re trained or if they know you dislike it. Whether it can be attributed to excitement, lack of exercise, or a hyperactive breed, some dogs refuse to behave. Under these circumstances, while it might not be possible to dissuade the dog from pulling, it is possible to make it easier on your limbs by getting them a harness. Dog harnesses wrap around the dog, and pulling back on the harness will cause the animal to slow down through the natural effect of the harness limiting their motion. Choosing the right harness is easy, as you can find a small dog harness for dachshunds, pugs, and Pomeranians, or larger harnesses for medium, large, and Great Dane size dogs. You’ll be amazed at how much less strain is put on your arms with a dog harness!
You want your dog’s harness to fit snugly around their bodies; having a harness that’s too tight or too loose can cause the animal discomfort and won’t work as well. Most harnesses are adjustable, so just make sure it fits!

With a full coat of fur, people might think that dogs don’t need more than their natural coat to keep warm outdoors. However, on cold days and for dogs with short hair, a dog coat can be necessary. It’s important to be aware of the conditions outdoors when taking your dog for a walk or even letting them out into the yard. If it’s below freezing or a few degrees above it, a dog coat and even dog boots are necessary to keep the dog warm. Select dogs that are bred to survive in cold temperatures, like Huskies and St. Bernards, won’t need the extra layer of protection from the elements, but most other breeds will. Just like people, dogs can also catch pneumonia, the common cold, and even frostbite. Owners should be aware that smaller dogs can be more vulnerable to the cold than larger breeds, and should take the necessary precautions.
Should you ever suspect that your dog is too cold or has become the victim of one of those conditions that can be attributed to cold weather, contact a veterinarian and take them somewhere warm to rest.
